There are several things that you need to consider when shopping for online weight loss programs. Keep in mind that there are literally hundreds and hundreds of options, so it can be a little overwhelming at first to choose the right one. So my goal for this article is to walk you through a little "checklist" so to speak for deciding if a program is right for you or not.

1. Does the program promise realistic results? Does the program advocate healthy and natural fat loss, or is it promising unrealistic results in an unrealistic amount of time. For example, a program that offers twenty pounds of weight loss in one week is probably bogus. Either it does not work at all, or the methods that they are using are unsafe and unnatural. A healthy fat burning program may offer something closer to 2-5 pounds per week. Trust me, weight loss and fat loss at this rate are a lot healthier and sustainable.

2. Does the program incorporate both an exercise and a nutritional component? Many online weight loss programs (or fat loss programs in general) are geared toward exercise. Now I am all for a great exercise program, but unless they include a nutritional component (i.e. what to eat for healthy fat loss and overall weight loss), then might want to look elsewhere or at least combine the exercise program with another program that focuses on nutrition.

3. Does the exercise portion of the program include weight training and interval training? In my opinion, these two forms of training are the most effective forms for fast fat loss, and the combining the two together can really maximize your body's ability to burn fat fast.

4. Does the program provide online support? There are many programs for weight loss online that include forums that clients can use to interact with other people using the program. These can go a long way to helping you stay motivated and answer any questions that you might have about exercises, eating, burning belly fat, muscle gain, and much more.

5. How much does the program cost? How much you want to spend on a fat loss program depends on what you think will provide the best value for the money. I have seen some absolutely amazing programs that cost upwards of $1,000, and I've seen some really great programs that cost under $50. But generally you can find a great program that costs between $50 and $200.
